Edward joined Runway Growth Capital in April 2017 as a Senior Associate and member of the investment team. Prior to Runway, Edward was a Private Equity Associate at Welsh, Carson, Anderson & Stowe (“WCAS”), where he was focused on leveraged buyouts and growth equity investments in the Technology sector. WCAS is a private equity firm that has invested exclusively in the Technology and Healthcare sectors since its formation in 1979 and has cumulatively raised and managed 16 equity and subordinated debt funds with total capital in excess of $22 billion. Prior to WCAS, Edward worked in the investment banking divisions of Guggenheim Partners in Technology, Media and Telecom M&A advisory and at BMO Capital Markets in Financial Sponsors.

A native of New York City, born and raised in the “Big Apple”, he graduated from Columbia University with a major in Operations Research and, prior to that, from Townsend Harris High School in Flushing.  Whenever time permits, Edward enjoys grabbing coffee and catching up with old friends to talk about all the good times that were had in college and in high school.
